Everyone is entitled to their opinions on this matter. When I first saw this story, I was totally disturbed/disgusted by it. The issue is not whether breast milk has beneficial qualities, it’s if breast feeding toddlers and above is right. Over nurturing a child is harmful. It leads to a whole lot of developmental, physiological, and dependency issues. They include the child being spoiled, co-dependent, overly sensitive, unable to act in a socially acceptable manner, and able to function independently. These things only handicap a child’s ability to cope, and assimilate into crazy world we live in. I can’t also deny the disturbing and almost pedophiliac type vibe from the photo attached to the article. A 3+ year old standing there sucking on their mom’s tit when they are perfectly capable of eating solid foods (and probably are) to me is just plain wrong. They say it is not sexual. If breast feeding is not required because the child can eat regular solid food, then it is sure as hell not natural. I am not saying women that do this are pedophiles, but very pedophiliac in nature. Can you imagine how this picture is going to be used to torment this child as he grows older by classmates, friends, and eventually coworkers? So many possibilities for this to be used to demean, ridicule, and demasculinize him. How could any intelligent, enlightened, and modern woman do this to their child? It just totally amazes me how much crazy behavior is coming into focus that just reinforces just how fucked up society has become. If anybody out there has disturbing things like this going on in their lives, maybe you should not broadcast it…

History has proven time and time again that religion is a personal thing, and when forced upon others always tramples on human rights. More atrocities have been committed in the name of Religion, than all other reasons combined. You would think people would learn from history. A Country that proclaims it is based on freedom is more known for hypocrisy. Truly ashamed to be born and raised in the South right now. You may have won a battle, but you will loose the war. Equal Rights is not a luxury, it’s mandated by the very principles this Country was built on. “Although at the time I felt I could more effectively get my ideas of a collective philosophy accomplished as a Republican more so than a Democrat, I realize now that the Republican Party was indeed the party of purely individual rights, not the Democrats. When I worked as the president of the Screen Actors Guild I understood the need for people to stick together for the greater good to get their goals accomplished. I admired other great presidents of the past such as Franklin Roosevelt, and Dwight Eisenhower who knew that in order for the nation to thrive, we must all thrive. I am also saddened that the Republican party of today thinks I wanted God in the White House and to rule the nation. That is not true at all, after I was nearly assassinated I wanted God more in my own personal life. I acknowledged that I was to be here for a reason and serve him and my nation together, but they always stayed separate in my mind just as in the Constitution. The Republican party today merely just uses God as a means to get votes, and I don’t believe Jesus would want to be used as a marketing tool. I regret my decision to become Republican and if I had to do it all over again I would have remained in the Democratic party and ran on their ticket. They seem to instill the core values I believe in, such as a collective philosophy. I thought for a while the Democrats left me, because we used to agree on so much, it turns out that I did indeed leave them, and I would do anything to take it all back. Now as I sit here as an old man, I can only imagine, “what if…””
